Response: We have demonstrated that both topical Vitamin C and topical insulin combined with microneedling may achieve comparable significant improvement. The good safety profile, easy accessibility, low cost, and non-invasive nature merits the use of both topical medications. Response: Insulin can be a promising novel anti-scarring therapy pending larger controlled studies to verify its efficacy among more diverse populations
